Info for Vendors
It’s easy to vend at the Fiddlehead Farmers’ Market. Our rules are few:
1) Everything you sell must be grown or produced on the Sunshine Coast.
2) If you plan to sell prepared foods, eggs, dairy or meat products you must first get approval from the the local Health Officer. There is only one form that you need to mail or fax and it can be found here: Sale of Food at Temporary Markets
How much does it cost?
Table fees are $7.50 per market for non-members and $5.00 for members. A one-year membership costs $25 and entitles you to participate in the society and vote for board members.
Do I need a table or a canopy?
No. Just come as you are. Lay down a blanket or a card table if that’s all you have. Just be neat and polite and clean up after yourself when you leave.
Will I have a dedicated spot?
No. The vending spots are assigned by the market manager on a first-come-first-served basis. Generally we set up in two rows facing each other. Because one of the rows is shaded by trees most of the produce vendors are placed there.
